There is no disputing that the name Kennedy evokes a myriad of emotions for many Americans.
For modern American history, if our nation were to have a Royal family, it would likely be the Kennedys of Massachusetts. While many on the right would “poopoo” this suggestion, consider this. This one family has produced multiple Ambassadors to foreign service, a President of the United States, an Attorney General, numerous Congressional Representatives (some even within the last several years), and United States Senators. No family in our two-hundred and fifty years has manufactured more public servants to this nation than that of the Kennedy’s.
What began as an Ambassador position to Great Britain by Joseph Kennedy during the Franklin Roosevelt Administration turned into a nearly century-long record of triumph and tragedy for this historic family. World War II produced heroics, with the eldest son being decorated for having been shot down over Germany while flying a top-secret mission in his bomber plane. Then the infamous sinking of then Lt. John F. Kennedy’s PT boat in the Pacific Ocean and the young Lt. swimming with an injured shipmate on his back for miles to land on a deserted island.
After being rescued and returned to the States, it was discovered that young John had performed the heroic act of saving his shipmate’s life while suffering from injuries when the Japanese destroyer cut his ship in half in a fiery crash. The incident would forever be recorded in the movie, ‘ PT-109’ in the 1960s.
With his father’s guidance and political prowess, the young Lieutenant would ultimately be elected as a United States Senator and then President in the historic election of 1960 against Former Vice-President Richard Nixon.
“Camelot” would only last a short three years before our nation would mourn the loss of this young President from a sniper’s bullet in Dallas, Texas, as he campaigned for re-election.
In that short tenure in the Oval Office, the Kennedys (meaning the President and his younger brother Robert Kennedy then-Attorney General) had established themselves as ‘fighters for civil rights, backers of union labor, an advocate for the middle-class working man, strong on national defense, Constitutional adherence, anti-Communism, and supporters of faith.‘ And probably the most important position of all is; ‘he is against the weaponization of the government against our citizens.‘
This is the political environment young Robert Kennedy Jr. would grow up in. His Uncle John had left a legacy that his father was carrying on when he was gunned down in a hotel kitchen in Los Angeles when he had decided to run for President in 1968. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was just fourteen years old when he buried his father.
While young Robert’s uncle Ted would become a legendary United States Senator, he (Ted) was primarily viewed as the “Black Sheep” because of an auto accident that tragically left a young lady drowned; this event did not deter the family from remaining in politics.
Young Robert would ultimately (in his family’s legacy) attend Harvard and obtain his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. After Law School, Kennedy would dive head-long into environmental issues, defending the economically challenged against major corporations such as Monsanto and found several environmental organizations. In addition, Kennedy has penned numerous books regarding the defense of our Democracy, renegade corporations polluting our nation, and other social subjects.
This is a long video, but well worth the watch. Kennedy explains his reasoning for running and many of his positions and delivers a very positive message.
As is his family’s legacy, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been involved in politics in one fashion or another for the bulk of his life, albeit so far around the fringes. That is “UNTIL” he decided to take the plunge and run for President earlier this year.
Today, RFK Jr. is running for the Democrat nomination against an aging and very obviously weakened and frail Joe Biden. In many respects, his campaign platform is traditional Kennedyesq. He is almost maniacal when it comes to defending the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He is pro-labor, pro-middle class, pro-military, and an ardent detractor from Joe Biden’s border policy. He believes Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine will end in disaster with Russia if we don’t back out. He also believes Biden’s China policy is extremely dangerous for the United States.
When listening to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. speak, one would (if you did not know his name was Kennedy) be convinced this man was a Constitutional Conservative, “which by all accounts” he is. He has run askew of the leftist portion of the Democrat Party by calling out COVID as one of the largest scams ever foisted on our nation. Just last week, he was called to Congress to discuss free speech and called out the Democrat party for their role and continued efforts to silence free speech.
As evidenced in this hearing, the radical Democrats are panic-stricken by Kennedy’s dismantling of their radical agenda.
In other words, he is an old-fashioned conservative Democrat much in the mold of his Uncle and Father.
ELECTION 2024
Robert Francis Kennedy Jr. is beginning to climb in the polls rapidly. He is almost at lightning speed catching Joe Biden and might have already passed him if the truth is known (only the media and party won’t acknowledge this).
With Biden’s health issues being front and center for his (not yet announced) campaign, Robert Kennedy Jr. would be the obvious choice to be the nominee for the party of Donkey’s. However, you still have the more liberal side of the party who will no doubt try to insert Gavin Newsome or possibly (as rumor has it) Michelle Obama to be the nominee. The problem for the Democrats, though, if they do this, is, THEY LOOSE YUGELY!
The fact is, America has had enough of this “Woke Liberal Insanity.” The Republican Political Action Committees will invest hundreds of millions in television advertising showing the disaster on the streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. Gavin has no possibility of winning the General Election against anyone the GOP puts up.
If the Democrats are smart, they will nominate Kennedy. He is appealing to Trump supporters by the droves as his platform is a near mirror image of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” mantra. And with Trump being likely taken out of the campaign due to an overwhelming legal saga, Kennedy would likely win the election.
The Republicans have three significant problems.
- There is almost no way Trump can survive these trials and remain a viable candidate. His legal woes are simply too much.
- Vivek Ramaswamy is popular; however (and it pains me to write this), he is brown-skinned and Indian, and that will not fly in nearly all of your Southern States. In addition, he is Hindu, which eliminates his ability to garner enough Electoral Votes to win the Presidency.
- Ron DeSantis has been too wounded by Trump to carry any of the Northern Tier States such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, or any of the West Coast.
Again, if the Democrats are smart, they will nominate Robert Kennedy Jr. as their candidate. He attracts moderate Democrats, Conservative Democrats, Libertarians, and the Moderate wing of the Republican Party.
I supported Donald J. Trump in two elections. I am on record with major News Publications, having endorsed, supported, campaigned for, and Caucused for this man. I have parted ways with the Former President and can no longer support him, and it is for one major reason.
Having served in the military and having once had a security clearance, I am very aware of the gravity of Top Secret documents. Donald Trump not just shared Top Secret documents with individuals with no security clearance, he explained in recordings that he was not supposed to share them, but he did it anyway. This is a grievous crime in the military, so much so that you could be thrown in Leavenworth for decades for committing this crime.
I am committing to (for the first time in my life) a Democrat in this election. I like Robert F. Kennedy’s platform and can fully identify with his vision of healing our nation. I honestly believe that he is the best choice for our country at this time in our history. The fact is, we must stop the craziness, and we must stop the drama. It is time to install another adult (who is functionally sound) into the Oval Office and begin restoring our nation.
I hope you will join me in supporting Robert Kennedy Jr. for President.
