If you want to know the future, sometimes it is helpful to look at the past. As the old saying goes: “History does often repeat itself.”
In late 1948, China had a revolution. It was led by a man (who made many promises) named Mao Zedong. Then we have Hitler in Germany, Stalin in Russia, and many more throughout history, who ended up becoming tyrants and slaughtering millions of innocent people. Could something akin to these events happen in the United States of America? It’s improbable, particularly as long as we have our Second Amendment in place. But what “if” our second was eradicated?
Patriotic Americans often cite the Second Amendment as the amendment that keeps the rest of the Constitution in place and safeguards our freedoms and liberties. Would the United States military ever turn on American citizens? This is also very doubtful, but then again, anything is possible. With this said, anytime a presidential candidate openly campaigns on disarming America (to any degree), one must take this campaign rhetoric seriously. Here is Kamala Harris campaigning for a gun buy-back program.
Does this single position alone make Kamala Harris ‘dangerous’ for our future as a free Republic? Possibly ‘no’ but combined with her long list of questionable governing positions, one could use the term “unquestionably and categorically YES.”
Beginning with her wealth position. Once again, the Democrats are attempting to divide our nation between those who have and those who have not. The millionaires and billionaires are evil; we must punish them by making them pay their fair share. This is most often the mantra used as if billionaires pay no taxes.
Harris even wants to tax “unrealized capital gains.” Simply put, if you purchased stock at $10 a share and your stock rises to $20 a share this year, you will pay taxes on the $10 profit. However, you have not sold your stock; you still own it. You have not put that $10 in your pocket; it is still sitting on Wall Street. Now imagine a family farm. Hypothetically, you own 1,000 acres of farmland and grow corn and cows. You inherited this land from your father and grandfather. They purchased this land in Iowa just after World War II for $200,000.00… Today, it is valued at $5,000,000.00… What Kamala Harris is proposing would mean that this farmer will be forced to pay over $1,000,000.00 in taxes on the value of this land. Cash, pay up~ Effectively, we will lose most, if not all, of our farmers and ranchers across this country in one year. Few, if any, can cough up that much cash on what this land is worth in this country today.
Forget the hyperbole about boys in the girls’ locker room, tampons in boys’ bathrooms, boys competing with girls (while saying they are girls), the transgenders reading to our children, and all the rest. While all of this is nauseating, we can still eat. However, these proposed tax policies will effectively cripple our nation economically, not to mention putting most of our farmers out of business. Where do we go when this happens? Because the reality is this will occur if Kamala Harris is elected and signs this into law.
Yes, Warren Buffet is almost sickeningly wealthy. This man owns a company named Berkshire Hathaway, which owns over sixty-five corporations, many of which are some of the largest companies in the United States, such as Apple, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, and many more. He is directly responsible for employing hundreds of thousands of employees. What happens when Kamala Harris begins stripping him of his wealth? Buffet owns railroads and trucking companies, some of the largest in the country; how many truck drivers are now unemployed? How many tellers at Bank of America across our land? How many families will be affected? Buffet is but one that she will go after. How about David Koch? Koch employs over 122,000 working middle-class Americans. Strip him of his wealth and watch our nation begin crumbling economically.
We have not even begun discussing Walmart and the Walton family, whose wealth exceeds $100 billion. The bottom line is that we have some of the wealthiest families on planet Earth living in America: the Vanderbilts, Gettys, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, the Rothchilds, and the Rockefellers. Combined, these families are worth hundreds of billions of dollars. If Kamala Harris attempts to strip them of 25%, 30%, or more, millions of Americans will become unemployed overnight. Please do not misunderstand; she wants to do an initial taxation of these percentages straight out of the box. Elizabeth Warren campaigned on this when she ran for President. This is the same taxation policy that AOC, Nancy Pelosi, and the rest of the radical leftists have sought for years. They honestly feel as though these people have too much, and much of it should be redistributed through the government to various groups of the “underprivileged.”
Stripping wealth is one thing, but likely the most disturbing aspect of a Kamala Harris presidency would be her allegiance to the Military Industrial Complex and endless wars. Yesterday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. described her affiliation and allegiance and how America became so immersed in the Ukraine/Russia war. In addition, Kennedy explains the depths of corruption in the Democratic Party. All of America should listen to this speech. It is both eye-opening and frightening.
For a lifelong Democrat from a political family such as the Kennedys to expose what RFK did yesterday and the party’s allegiances to the “War Machine,” this election is no longer about a new president but the very survivability of our nation.
While you may not like Donald Trump’s braggadocious statements, his ego, or even his strange hairstyle, at least he doesn’t want perpetual wars and doesn’t want to put millions of Americans in the bread lines as Kamala Harris seeks to do. Trump doesn’t want to take your guns, and he doesn’t want to tax you into the poor house. He wants secure borders, and he wants to stop sending our nation’s wealth to Ukraine and other countries.
