Sometimes, the almost imperceptible events can cost you the most, and you never realize it until it’s too late.
In 2016, Former President Trump campaigned quite a bit on opening up the ‘Top-Secret’ portions of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in November of 1963. While Trump’s administration managed to keep most of his campaign promises after entering the White House, the one he could not keep or chose not to keep was the release of the files on Kennedy.
In circles around Capitol Hill, it is widely known that it would be Former CIA Director (to later become Secretary of State) Mike Pompeo who would talk Trump off the cliff of releasing these documents. For several decades, leaks, rumors, and even a few whistle-blowers have surfaced who have accused the CIA of orchestrating (at the behest and orders of Former Vice-President Lyndon Johnson) and carrying out the historic “Coup-D-Etat” against John F. Kennedy.
There is likely no event in American history that has been the cause of more rumors and tin-foil-hat conspiracy theories than the horrific events of that beautiful fall day in Dallas, Texas, back in 63. Without delving into the assassination too deeply, this scene from the Kevin Costner film (JFK) directed by Oliver Stone, explains the plot better than any description likely ever produced.
If Donald Trump did release the grotesque details of the assassinations of John Kennedy and his brother, Robert Kennedy (yes, there is apparently another twist in this sordid episode in our history), what would the fallout be? How would the American people react? Would there be mass unrest amongst the people? Would there be riots and the calling for the disbanding of the CIA and possibly the FBI?
Up until now, the actual truth of “who, what, when, why” JFK was murdered has primarily been speculation among the citizens. For over six decades, the American people have never known the truth. Was it one loan wolf gunman? Was it a conspiracy? Did Fidel Castro have it done? Was it the Mafia since Kennedy was supposedly sleeping with a Mob Boss’s girlfriend? These and many more conspiracy theories have been floated. However, two truths are relevant and must be considered.
History tells us that President Kennedy gave a speech at Harvard University two weeks before his death. In this speech, Kennedy apparently announced that he was pulling all Americans out of South Vietnam and bringing them home. In addition, he said, “I am going to scatter the CIA to the winds.” It is widely known that Kennedy had precious little respect for the CIA after the “Bay of Pigs” debacle.
This statement had to send shivers down Allen Dulles’s (then CIA Director) spine. According to historians, Dulles was having a field day overthrowing governments and fighting covert wars globally, and the Military Industrial Complex loved this guy. John F. Kennedy had been to war. He had survived painful back injuries after his PT-Boat had been run over by a Japanese destroyer in World War II. Kennedy knew the costs, pain, and death associated with war, and he was trying to prevent more wars. This went against the CIA’s agenda.
Again, ask yourself, what would the American people’s reaction be if they found out the truth that our own government agency committed a Coup against our duly elected President all to expand war operations for profit?
Trump announcing with Robert F. Kennedy his intentions to open the files.
Former President Gerald Ford had sat on the Warren Commission. Both Presidents Clinton and Reagan had, at one time or another, mentioned opening up the assassination files, but they let it go by the wayside and never mentioned it again.
In an effort for this article to categorically believe that JFK was indeed a “hit” by the CIA, simply ask yourself these two questions. Could Lee Harvey Oswald have actually hit a moving target three times (two hits on Kennedy alone) from an increasing distance, with a cheap rifle in a manner of only a few seconds? Next, ask yourself, “How” did they find this guy in a movie theater miles away, only a short time after the act was completed, and who did they know to look for in this movie theater? Remember, he was on foot, not driving a car. Two plus two does not add up to four. Those two questions alone should lead to the fact that this was an orchestrated action by some very powerful people. Go view the first above video again and try to answer the questions posed by the character played by Donald Southerland.
Politically speaking, what does it benefit President Trump to use this campaign promise on the trail? Those who were alive in 1963 and were old enough to know what happened (meaning those in their late teens up through senior citizens ages) are now primarily deceased. The Generations X-Z largely are not interested today, so “why” is he using this horrific piece of history in today’s campaign? One would have to believe that RFK Jr. already knows all the details anyway, so why bring this up at the risk of opening yourself up to a possible life-threatening situation? Is this “why” Butler, Pennsylvania, happened? Was the CIA sending a message to Trump? Even Don Jr. and Eric Trump have publicly said they could have hit the target dead center from that distance. Could somebody have been sending a message to Trump to “can it and shut up?”
As most of Trump’s advisors, campaign staff, former campaign staff, and political pundits have told the Former President: Leave Kamala Harris’s personal history and attacks at home. Stick to the issues of inflation, energy, border security, and all the rest of your campaign messaging. There is no benefit to dragging up the JFK and RFK assassinations and risking the potentially catastrophic fallout that could possibly happen, not to mention the fact that the CIA is not likely to allow this to happen. Stay safe, Mr. President, and stop poking the bear while he’s sleeping.
