As the old adage goes: “Hindsight is always 20/20.” The headlines a few days ago on the ‘Drudge Report‘ in bold, bright red lettering reads, POLL: 72% WANT HIM OUT!
And herein lies the problem for the Democrat Party. Since Biden won the bulk of the 4,000 delegates, they are pledged to him and him alone. Another twist is that Biden cannot give away the millions and tens of millions he has raised to another candidate. To make matters even worse for the party, apparently, all indications are that Joe only listens to Jill and his son Hunter. And, of course, they want him to stay in for various selfish reasons. The first is that the First Lady loves her position, staff, housekeepers, media attention, and all the trappings of being the First Lady. As for Hunter, he needs Dad to pardon him if he gets a prison term for his conviction on felony gun charges.
As of July 5 (today), all or most of the media are reporting that the President will not relinquish his position as the presumptive Democrat Party nominee for President of the United States in the November general election. With the President’s current approval rating at historic lows, this poses a grim outcome for the Biden campaign. According to the post-debate polling and with Donald Trump surging, these are the current projections for the outcome of the 2024 general election.
At this point in this campaign, if you’re the chairman of the DNC, what do you do? Your job is to bring home the bacon, IE, ‘a win in November.’ As a Democrat, you do have the advantage nationwide of there being more registered Democrats than Republicans or Independents. Therefore, technically speaking, you do possess an advantage. Your ground game on a national scale is stacked, meaning you have hundreds of thousands of ideologically driven college kids to knock on doors for you. You have a president who is passing out cash to these same kids (even defying the Supreme Court) at an astonishing rate. Historically, you have some 90-plus percent of the African American vote and nearly 100% of the Hispanic and most other minorities. Combine all of that with the liberal billionaires (IE, Zuckerbucks, Gates, et al.) and Hollywood’s piles of liquidity, and you’d think that the Democrats have it made. Not this year!
The election year of 2020 (for the Democrats) was the same as every other election year. It seems the party will nominate the candidate who has the highest visibility rating and has served the government the longest. Hillary Clinton was the “chosen” one in 2016, then prior to that was John Kerry (who was a dinasaur within the party), and you get the idea. However, in 2020, their chosen candidate just happened to be one who had years before suffered a near-life-ending stroke and now had the early onset of dementia or Alzheimer’s. “Old-Scranton-Joe” was a mess in that he could not put together a cogent sentence without spewing out “word salad.”
Fortunately for the party of Burro’s, we had a pandemic known as COVID-19, and the world was (for all intents and purposes) shut down. Then, President Donald Trump, for unbeknownst reasons, decided to implement and push for mail-in ballots. Again, unbeknownst to the Republicans, this opened the door for massive voter fraud. This effectively allowed “Old-Scranton-Joe” to campaign from his basement, cut videos, and do a few Skype town halls. Shoot Joe up with some drugs, give him a script to read, and you have a ‘somewhat’ sellable candidate as long as the surroundings are controlled. And that’s exactly what the Democrats did.
Four years and a globally televised debate have changed everything for Scranton Joe. At the tender age of eight decades plus, dementia has progressed, and now since we have no more COVID to stress out over, the curtain has been pulled back, and the Emporer truly is butt naked.
Somewhere in an office with plenty of Vegan munchies and seltzer water, Democrats with Jill Biden (the First Lady) on the speaker phone, it was decided to throw a “hail-mary” and challenge the “Evil Orange Haired One” to a debate. Somebody suggested (don’t know who) that “Hey, we can shoot him up, fill his brain with canned answers to questions we know they will ask,” and he might just be able to pull off a one-time miracle.
After doing the senior citizen shuffle onto the stage, an hour and a half of freezing up, staring blankly into space, and appearing slack-jawed, Scranton’s favorite son went down faster than the Titanic did. It was over! Joe’s political career and the Democrat Party became doomed for 2024 and likely for over a decade afterward. Here’s why!
Former President Donald Trump has a record of creating jobs for the African American and Hispanic communities at a record rate. They had money in their pockets back in 2020 before the election. America was booming economically prior to COVID. The world was at peace, or at least the bad guys were behaving themselves. The border was effectively closed unless you came in legally. Terror was on the run, and America was safe. In other words, times had not been this good since the Fonz and Richie hung out at Arnold’s drive-in.
Today, “Poor-old-Scranton-Joe” has lost a huge percentage of the African American vote (polls suggest some 35%); the same holds true with the Hispanic vote. College kids cannot bring themselves to support a mummified grey-haired candidate, and America witnessed someone who very obviously is mentally challenged. The fact is, the Democrat Party is imploding. Minorities are tired of being used (for votes) and are sick and tired of all the broken promises made by Democrats. With Joe still on the ticket, the Dem’s have an even larger problem, and that is the “down-ballot” races for the Senate and Congress. With “NO” enthusiasm for this ticket of Biden and Harris, the Democrats are likely to have a poor voter turnout, thus losing both House and Senate seats.
Donald J. Trump will likely be re-elected President in an unprecedented fashion. 45 or more states will likely elect the former President.
