Dear Mr. Speaker:
As you peer out over the Potomac River (from the United States Capitol) toward those some 400,000 marble grave markers (Arlington National Cemetary), you’ll also view the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. All 400,000 plus men and women lying (one is my own father) at this historic and sacred site dedicated their lives to an ideal that this nation was founded upon. This is also the case of two of our most revered Presidents, those being Washington and Lincoln.
The “ideal” that this nation was constructed upon was that “this is the land of opportunity, equality, and no person nor religion is greater than the other.” Our Bill of Rights and Constitution guarantee that, as Americans, we are protected with certain rights and privileges. One of our basic tenets is we’re all equal under the law. No person is more significant under the law than the next.
For the past three-plus years, our nation has been bombarded with Democrat talking points that former President Donald Trump is “not above the law” and equal justice must prevail. And if President Trump is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and the evidence bears this out, then he should succumb to the law.
Mr. Speaker: On behalf of the American people and the Constitution I served under (and still serve as my pledge doesn’t have an expiration date), I am beseeching you to hold actual impeachment hearings for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. They both should be charged with the following:
- President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris took oaths to defend this nation against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. They both have abdicated their oaths by allowing millions of undocumented and illegal aliens to cross into our nation illegally. They ordered the Border Patrol and ISIS to stand down and facilitate nothing short of an invasion of our country. We now know that hundreds and possibly thousands of documented terrorists are on our soil. We also know that these terrorists will, in time, launch attacks against our citizens. This is an apparent abdication of duty that these two elected officials were sworn to uphold, and instead, they ordered that our immigration laws be broken.
- Representatives Jim Jordan and Comer have a mountain of evidence proving that President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, have received millions of dollars in illegal “contributions or donations” from foreign governments, breaking numerous laws in our nation. In fact, this is so severe that these donations have affected long-standing foreign policy regarding nations such as China. It is highly likely that this President has, in fact, been compromised because of these large payments from both China and Ukraine. I refer you to the YouTube video where then-Vice President Biden openly admits to strong-arming the Ukrainian government by threatening to withhold United States aid if they don’t fire their Attorney General because Hunter was going to be investigated.
Mr. Speaker, I could write a complete book on President Biden’s transgressions since he became President (and I am sure books will be written), but the fact is, Congress now has overwhelming evidence that both the President and Vice President have committed grievous acts against our nation.
I fully realize the public backlash that holding these hearings would create. I also fully realize (as do the American people) that the United States Senate is highly unlikely to remove these two individuals from their positions.
However, what the Senate does is beyond your control. You swore your oath when you became Speaker of the House. Your duty is to that position, not what the Senate will or won’t do. The American people and all Republicans in this nation are looking to you to uphold your duty and, at the very least, carve it in stone that this President and Vice President were, in fact, impeached for their actions against this nation.
Put the political ramifications aside and do what is right for this country.
As you do look out toward Arlington, remember President Lincoln and Washington both had enormous decisions to make, and they always made them in terms of “what is best for our nation,” not what is the least politically damaging. You must send a message to all future elected officials and those currently sitting that honesty, decency, integrity, loyalty to our country, and honor must be the guiding forces in their daily lives.
Thank you for considering our plea:
We, the American People
