Imagine the United States fighting with Canada for seven or eight decades. Imagine England warring with Scotland for the past seventy-plus years. Why would Scotland send suicide bombers to coffee shops, businesses, or shopping malls only to kill and injure thirty or forty people? Canada has its borders, nation, religion, government, and everything it needs to function and survive, so why would she attack and cause death and destruction in America? And the same goes for Scotland; why would these “peace-loving” people shoot and kill their own (in many ways)?
The only logical reason is “religious beliefs.”
America is all Baptist, and Canada is Catholic. Catholicism teaches Canadians that the only good Baptists is a dead Baptists. For us Canadians to go to heaven when we die, we must please Jesus by killing all of the heretic Baptists. This may not be the “best” euphemism for what is transpiring today in the Gaza Strip, but it is close.
This is a war that, when analyzed in a religious context, goes back to Abraham and Sarah from the Old Testament. The prophet Muhammed poured gasoline on it when he wrote in the Quran. The following is from (the Quran’s position regarding Christians and Jews (islamweb.net)
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World, and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
So many verses in the Noble Qur’an show the prejudice, hatred, and disbelief by the non-believers. They unduly change the words of the Scriptures as they like and attribute to Allah some disgraceful qualities.
The Jews and Christians are called the “People of the Scripture” (or the Book). Due to the notoriety of the crusades among the Muslims, the Church officials preferred to be called Christians despite the fact that they are not true followers of Jesus Christ. Muslims should have no doubt that they are Kafirs. Please find below some of the verses in the Qur’an which refer to the Christians and Jews and their hostile attitude towards the Muslims:
The Noble Qur’an: {Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad (
)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.} [98:6].
{Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger, (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.} [9:29].
{They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allâh (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allâh), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilâh (God – Allâh) Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).”} [9:31].
{Say: “O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you reject the Ayât of Allâh (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) while Allâh is Witness to what you do?”} [3:98].
{And the Jews say: ‘Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh’s Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!} [9:30].
Allah knows best.
Herein lies the problem for peace in the Middle East. The Quran literally (in dozens upon dozens) in scripture calls for Muslims to “eradicate” and “kill” Jews and Christians. If you happen to be an “Infidel” (non-believer in Muhammed), then you are to be destroyed, according to the Prophet.
The bottom line is this: The Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are “the poor innocent victims” caught in the middle. These people, for decades, have harbored and protected the terrorist group Hamas. They knew full well what Hamas and Hezbollah were and are. They knew where they hid their offices, bunkers, tunnels, rockets, and armaments and who was involved. They have spent decades teaching the next generation that the Jews are to be destroyed because this is what Allah calls for.
Today, the Palestinians are playing the victim card and twisting their actions for the world to view to be that they are the victims of the evil state of Israel. If you are the “Get Away” driver of Bonnie and Clyde when they robbed a bank, are you not just as guilty? While you may not get convicted of shooting the teller, you will get convicted for aiding and abetting Clyde and Bonnie’s robbery.
Yes, the war in the Gaza Strip is a tragedy of epic proportions. No, not all Palestinians are guilty of aiding and abetting Hamas, but if you’re Israel and you just suffered a mass slaughter of your people, what do you do? You cannot just stand back and say, “No harm, no foul.” You must go in and destroy this evil which is slaughtering your people and has for decades.
Israel doesn’t seek to harm innocent people. This is why Prime Minister Netanyahu has for over a week put off the total destruction of the Gaza Strip and given the innocent time to evacuate. Yes, it sucks that they are losing their homes and their businesses, but again, at some point, Israel has to put a stop to these bloodthirsty animals killing their own people for the sheer sport of doing so.
Remember this: God says that “whoever” supports and defends Israel will be blessed for doing so. Let us hope that somebody reminds Joe Biden of this scripture.
