The theories about how Kamala Harris lost the November 5th presidential election are as plentiful as conspiracy theories about UFOs at Area 51. Some claim it was Barack Obama’s and Joe Biden’s campaign team running her efforts in an antiquated fashion dating back 20+ years. Others claim it was messaging on her part or the ‘lack thereof.’ Still, many pundits attribute her loss to her many gaffes, particularly her “not thinking of anything she would have done differently from Joe Biden.”
While yes, there were, in fact, many plausible reasons for Harris’s loss, the one “elephant in the room” that few, if any, are discussing is that America is sick of Washington, D. C., as a whole and was sending a clear and resounding message: “We ain’t taking it anymore. Now go smoke that in your pipe.” Once again, America has voted for John Wayne to storm the beaches at Iowa Jima and Normandy. America wants Donald J. Trump to take no prisoners. They want Justice. They want to see John Podesta, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Susan Rice, and the entire clan in chains and handcuffs. America wants Barrack Obama brought up on charges of being an illegal president (because of his birth origin). And they want the fake news media who lies nightly to our nation to shut down. In short, America wants a severe house cleaning on Capitol Hill, and they want the lying press to end up in the ashbin of history.
Why hasn’t the Biden regime been arrested for allowing our national security to be so severely threatened on our Southern Border? Why has this been allowed? Why have thousands of illegal aliens (I don’t use the term immigrant because these people are not immigrants; they are invaders) who are on the terrorist watch list been allowed asylum in our nation? Why has Joe Biden been allowed to send hundreds of billions to Ukraine with almost zero accountability? Why did our Congress allow Biden to cancel the restrictions being placed on Iran (to keep them from developing nuclear weapons), which has allowed them to bank hundreds of millions and billions of dollars to fund terrorism against Israel? Why didn’t Congress stop him?
There used to be a time when various occupations were polled on popularity amongst our citizens. For example, physicians were highly rated, while Attorneys and Used Car Salesmen had abysmal ratings. There is a valid reason why Congress has a rating of 18%. This rating is in the sewer compared with 99% of the other occupations in the nation. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi would be one reason. This lady is notorious for her “insider trading” on Wall Street, and she’s not alone. It has been widely publicized that former Congressional Representative Liz Cheney entered her office worth a couple of million and left four years later worth tens of millions. How did she accomplish this on a salary of less than two hundred thousand a year? The facts are that these members on Capitol Hill participate in Insider Trading on Wall Street and take hundreds of thousands annually from lobbyists.
The cases of Congressmen and Senators voting on legislation that they know harms the American public and is against their better judgment are all too often offset by the $100,000.00 donation they just received from a Political Action Committee or Lobbyist to their personal PAC for re-election. Another stunning statistic is the re-election rate at which these corrupt Representatives are able to retain their seats in the House or Senate. Some 97% of Incumbents are, in fact, re-elected. This is “why” it is so difficult to replace scum-bag Congressional Reps with good people. Unless the challenger is a multimillionaire and is willing to put up a sizeable chunk of their own personal wealth, it’s a hard slog uphill to make a viable campaign at one of these seats.
While Kamala Harris did, in reality, run a very poor campaign, the American people have had enough of the “now” very blatant corruption of not just Capitol Hill but also the Pentagon, the Department of Justice, the FBI, ATF, FDA, and many more alphabet agencies. This is why you had Democrats leaving in droves from their party to vote for Donald Trump. Ask most Democrats “why” they voted for Trump, and they are quick to say that they “did not” leave their party; the party left them.
Ultimately, the Democrats lost the White House, the United States House of Representatives, and the United States Senate because of corruption within the party and a referendum by the American people. “We the People” have sent a clear and resounding message that we have had it up to here (pointing to eyebrows) and “We aren’t taking it anymore.”
Both parties need to listen to the people. If they do not, it will be more of the same in the 2026 mid-terms and beyond. Let us hope and pray that the referendum is held to the ballot box and not something much worse.
