After yesterday’s historic rally at the famed Madison Square Garden (in New York City), former President Donald Trump appears to have all the momentum to win back the White House for the Republican Party. Videos from the rally show the Garden packed to the rafters with over 20,000 Trump supporters, with reports of another 75,000 on the streets outside the coliseum. If New York City and State are any indication of “who” wins this election, then Kamala Harris is indeed in trouble.
Historically, New York has always been a Democrat stronghold, and the last Republican to win the Empire State was President Ronald Reagan in 1984. However, if the massive turnout for yesterday’s Madison Square Garden is any indication, Democrats are indeed switching their support. While Trump may not win New York, this does show that Kamala is likely in deep water in other states, particularly the so-called “swing states,” where the vote is much closer.
With the ‘law fair’ that Trump has endured, the two impeachment attempts, the attempted bankrupting, the Russian hoaxes, and even assassination attempts, Donald Trump is still standing, and it appears he is also winning. But what this also indicates is that the Democrat Party will stop at nothing to keep Trump from walking back into the Oval Office. In military terms, the Democrats are in “DEFCOM ONE.” Meaning that this is all-out political warfare to stop this man from ever being President again.
Their kangaroo court conviction by Alvin Bragg sentencing has been postponed until next year. (This case will be thrown out upon appeal) This means that if Trump is sworn in, there will be no jail time until after his tenure as president. Their bogus Mar-A-Lago raid for ‘top-secret’ documents was thrown out by a Federal Judge. Their ‘real-estate’ trial, where Trump was handed $140,000,000.00 in fines, is also being thrown out by an Appelit Court. So far, nearly everything the Democrats have thrown at this man has failed. Even Jack Smith’s case for “Insurrection and Treason” is being seriously questioned by a Federal Judge.
However, the Democrats are not done. They still have one card up their political sleeves and intend to play it. According to Representative Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland), he plans to (upon the swearing-in of the new Congress on January 5) force a vote to “not certify” President Trump’s electoral votes based upon these two items.
- That President Trump is a convicted felon and, therefore, not qualified to be President of the United States.
- That President Trump is guilty of insurrection against the United States and, therefore, not qualified to be President.
Lest you think this is a comedy, think again. Raskin is sitting on (what he believes) some fairly damning evidence which has not made it to the public square. This is an interview from some months back, but this is something that has not been in the mainstream media, and few know about it.
And herein lies the problem for President Trump. Remember, Trump did not have an overwhelming majority support when he was in office. Recalling, he only had around 40 Republican Congressmen support him and several hundred who had turned on him and even wanted him drummed out of the party. He has even had the bulk of his cabinet and White House staff refuse to support his re-election bid in this campaign. This can and likely will become very problematic if Raskin gets his way and pursues this “De-Certificication” route.
The problem here, as you can see in the above video, is that Raskin is, in fact, a Constitution Scholar and knows his stuff. He knows his way around our founding documents and Congress. In addition, he is a heavyweight in the Democratic Party. You don’t have to like him; you can even revile him, but the guy knows what he is doing.
This is why it is so important that the GOP can retake Congress and do so with a large majority. If the Republicans only win by a slim margin (where we are currently at), then President Trump will likely be cast aside, and now J. D. Vance will be certified, and he will be our next President.
From the start, we knew this election cycle would be unlike anything we have ever seen. Between social media and the legacy media, we have read, seen, and heard a million lies, conspiracy theories, and outright bull fertilizer. We have been witness to attempted murder, fictitious lawsuits, kangaroo courts, and false arrests and raids. Even though the trial was lopsided and unfair, we still have a candidate who is (again, it will be overturned) for the time being a convicted felon. Yet, he wins the nomination for the presidency. Yes, this has genuinely been a campaign for the scholars and history books.
What happens if Trump does win but doesn’t prevail at the Congressional level to be certified? This is the question that we should all be worried about. Personally, I can see “all hell breaking loose.” Trump will garner somewhere in the vicinity of eighty million votes (80,000,000). If Congress thinks for a minute that January 6, 2020, was an insurrection, they haven’t seen anything yet if Congress fails to certify Trump as the rightful and duly elected President.
I actually worry that this could be the spark that gives birth to an actual revolution in this nation where potentially millions of Americans could die. If Raskin is able to pursue this line, this could unravel this nation for a century or more. Our economy will implode overnight, and there will be mass bloodshed if he pulls this stunt. Let’s all pray that cooler heads prevail.
