From History.com: “World War I, also known as the Great War, started in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder catapulted into a war across Europe that lasted until 1918. During the four-year conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Canada, Japan, and the United States (the Allied Powers). Thanks to new military technologies and the horrors of trench warfare, World War I saw unprecedented levels of carnage and destruction. By the time the war was over and the Allied Powers had won, more than 16 million people—soldiers and civilians alike—were dead.“
From History.com: World War II was the biggest and deadliest war in history, involving more than 30 countries. Sparked by the 1939 Nazi invasion of Poland, the war dragged on for six bloody years until the Allies defeated the Axis powers of Nazi Germany, Japan and Italy in 1945. Explore the battles, leaders and atrocities from the war and its impact on geopolitics and humankind.
History tells us that the United States entered into war with Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. Shortly thereafter, America was now embroiled in two major wars on two continents. These two wars would end up being the costliest (in terms of human life) in the history of mankind. It would also produce the deadliest weapon of war in human history, the atomic bomb.
When thinking about atomic warfare, the bombs that the United States, Russia, China, and other nations possess today have the capability of literally eradicating human, animal, and plant life from the entire globe. Imagine for a moment one of these “thermo-nuclear warheads” being detonated above New York City. We would lose millions of our citizens, and New York City would be reduced to ashes in a matter of minutes. The military of the United States responds by launching hundreds of nuclear-armed rockets and visa/versa against our enemy. In a matter of hours, tens of millions and possibly hundreds of millions of people are incinerated by the explosions of heat rivaling that of the sun. It will be years before the nuclear winter dissipates, but by then, most, if not all, of humanity has been exterminated.
It is now being reported that the Biden/Harris administration’s lenience toward the nation Iran and their massive infusion of cash has allowed this rogue nation to be within only weeks of obtaining its first nuclear warhead. In recent months and over the past year, we have seen the cruelty and obsession over Israel that Iran has inflicted on this tiny nation. Between funding terror groups and an outright assault with hundreds of missiles, Iran has made it clear that it seeks the destruction of Israel.
According to recent news reports, Israel is developing a response to Iran’s aggression to include an attack on Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities. If and when this happens, it will be an almost instant escalation of the tensions between these two nations. Will Iran respond in kind? It is all but guaranteed that Iran will respond militarily. Russia is a close ally of Iran, and now Russia has joined forces with China, and these two military behemoths are uniting to stop America. The most frightening part of this is that Syria and Lebanon are allowing the terror group Hezbollah and Hamas to use their nations as launching platforms to bomb Israel.
If the Middle East is not problematic enough, now Russia is receiving reinforcement troops from North Korea, and China has announced that they are putting their military on alert and are now on a war footing.
So, what has prompted this massive escalation in the war between Ukraine and Russia? The Biden/Harris administration is the answer. Ukrainian president Zelensky decided that he needed long-range missiles to attack Russia’s interior. Recently, Zelensky traveled to Washington to meet with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. These meetings were to request more money, more arms, and longer-range missiles. Apparently, Joe Biden is open to the request. This is precisely what could be the catalyst to an all-out war on the European continent.
The radical left media has portrayed Vladimir Putin as this monster, and some may agree that he is. But the fact is, he warned Ukraine not to join NATO. He warned them for several years. His aversion to Ukraine being part of NATO is that Moscow is only slightly over two hundred miles from the Ukraine border. He knew that Zelensky wanted to install missiles on the Ukraine/Russian border. If Zelensky had decided to launch rockets at Moscow, Russia would not have had time to react and protect itself. Putin did warn Zelensky over and over again prior to attacking.
Putin has subsequently warned that if Ukraine does obtain these long-range rockets, he will be forced into launching low-level nuclear weapons on the Ukrainian battlefield. The fact is, Vladimir Putin is not one to bluster much. He doesn’t speak empty threats.
The question now becomes, with Putin threatening nuclear weapons if Ukraine obtains these rockets, and with North Korea sending (God only knows how many) troops to Russia and with China ramping up its military readiness, where are we going next? Is Russia about to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine with Korean troops to overwhelm the country?
Knowing what we know from history, it doesn’t take much to embroil most European countries into a conflict. Are we about to witness the beginning of World War III, or are we already seeing the beginning? What are Poland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and the other nations nearby going to do? How will Georgia respond?
This is yet another example of how important America’s leadership is in the world. We all need to pray that nothing further happens until President Donald Trump can be inaugurated on January 20, 2025.
