The apostle Paul, writing to Christians living in the capital city of the Roman Empire, wrote, “All authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God” (Romans 13:1)
Former President Bill Clinton was widely regarded (and arguably so) as the most intellectually superior President the United States has ever elected. His intellectual prowess and his innate ability to look into the camera and utter his now famous quote, “I feel your pain,” carried him to victory in both his elections.
If Clinton (being a Rhodes Scholar) is supposedly the most brilliant President, then Vivek Ramaswamy might very well be (for lack of a better description) Clinton’s brain on steroids. To put it bluntly, Vivek Ramaswamy might very well be one of the top ten most intelligent people in America today. To be even more blunt, “This Dude surpassed genius long ago.“
One of the unique aspects of living in Iowa (besides being incredibly boring) is “We get to actually spend time talking with Presidential candidates one on one.” Both Iowa and New Hampshire are states where a candidate has to be adept at “retail politicking,” and if they are not, they will likely flame out in these states (which often tanks their campaign ambitions).
By retail politicking, I am referring to small campaign events such as ‘house parties’, door-to-door (small businesses on the town square) types of interaction with voters versus large events in event centers or colosseums.
Last night I had the opportunity to visit with Vivek Ramaswamy (one on one) for a total of about 15 minutes. In addition, I watched how he handled himself when speaking with others. The event was held at a Republican supporter’s home in a suburb of Des Moines.
The first that struck me about this man was the fact that he genuinely “wanted” to know your thoughts about the current state of the nation. When you are explaining your thoughts or giving your feelings to him, his eyes never leave yours, and he actually listens to you. The man cares about you, or at least this is the impression he gives you. Another anomaly (amongst politicians) about Vivek is that he “never once in his speaking to the crowd” gave us doom and gloom about the country. His entire speech was not only explaining the issues facing us, but he gave solutions to problems where most politicians don’t. Most politicians want you “fearing” the future without them at the helm. Not Vivek! He told the crowd how “their” input, hard work, tenacity as Americans, and faith in God would make this nation great. Wow, what a novel idea!
Another anomaly about Vivek is he is not an imposing figure. In other words, he will never be a linebacker for the Chicago Bears. However, his speaking ability is incredible, and his voice is authoritative and booming. This guy is a powerhouse at speaking! Yet, privately, he speaks very softly and compassionately.
To give you a very clear picture of this gentlemen’s intellect, the following is an interview he did recently with Don Lemmon at CNN. Lemmon tries in vain to trap Vivek and even insult him. In the end, Ramaswamy eviscerates Lemmon’s arguments, and the entire time, he spoke the truth.
Where many conservative political figures collapse and become flustered by liberal media, it is clear that Vivek Ramaswamy relishes in using facts and figures to destroy the left-wing’s propaganda being driven by the media.
The following video is the interview that Vivek did yesterday with Tucker Carlson in Des Moines, Iowa. If Vivek does ultimately win the nomination, it will likely be because of this interview that he’ll reflect on as having truly launched him in this race for the nomination. In the past 24 hours, this video has gone viral and been seen hundreds of thousands of views across multiple platforms.
After having watched this interview, it is clear that Vivek has a clear grasp of the “core” problem in our nation, and he has a clear solution for resolving the problem. Many candidates will list education, the border, national defense, high taxes, inflation, and a multitude of other issues as being the cause of so many of our problems in this country. While he acknowledges these issues, he explains that these are not the “CORE” problems. It is our inner issues which are causing the surface problems. I found his explanation with Tucker to be extraordinarily revealing and insightful.
As many of you know, I am managing the Ezra Scott for the United States Senate campaign in Michigan. (scottformichigan.com) My team and I have performed an in-depth analysis of “how-to” solve a couple of major issues involving our Veterans, balancing the budget, and taking Social Security recipients out of the income tax rolls.
When I broached these subjects with Vivek, he immediately wanted to know more, then said he would have his campaign staff begin researching these ideas and likely incorporate them into his campaign. The part that most intrigued him was what Ezra wants to do with solving the homeless Veteran issue. By implementing an accounting process known as Lean-Six-Sigma, we can strip over $1-Trillion in waste and duplication out of the nation’s budget annually. Using only a fraction of these savings, we can construct dormitories at many of the 171 Veterans facilities across our country. This would take some 67,000 homeless vets off the streets, give them a place to live, and they get 3 square meals a day. He loved the concept and agreed it was the least we can do for our warriors who have served this nation.
In the end, it is going to take someone who does not owe their political loyalty to a Political Action Committee, Lobbyists, or even a Political Party to truly solve many of our problems. America needs “ANOTHER” outsider, only this time; they need someone who has NO skeletons in their closet and someone who can process an enormous amount of information quickly and accurately. I would submit that all who read this go to YOUTUBE and watch the dozens of interviews with Vivek Ramaswamy. I believe you will when you have finished; you, too, will be as impressed as I am with this gentleman. Visit; (www.vivek2024.com) for more on this incredible candidate.
I believe Vivek might very well be the answer our nation needs at this time in our history.
First, the king must be anointed by God. “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you and have taken possession of it and settled in it, and you say, ‘Let us set a king over us like all the nations around us,’ be sure to appoint over you the king the Lord your God chooses” (Deuteronomy 17:14–15)
